As part of our American road trip I booked a variety of locations for us to stay; including hotels, motels, cabins, airbnb’s a tiny house and a night of glamping. We’d never been glamping before but our night at Under Canvas ended up being our favorite part of the trip.

We always like to plan our main holiday in September, in which we usually go quite far and for a longer period of time. Last weekend was one of the glorious long spring weekends, with amazing weather. Perfect timing because it was also the weekend in which my boyfriend and I headed to Lille with his family. We enjoyed the sunshine, the adorable town, the shops and we even paid a visit to the zoo. Lille isn’t a particularly large city, but it’s very charming, especially the old part. Now I am not planning on turning this into a city guide but I do have a top 5 of things you should do while you are in Lille. May is one of my favorite months, the weather is slowly improving and the longer days really increase my productivity. May is going to be a busy month, in which I find myself traveling every other weekend. That’s why my May goals are all about keeping me grounded.
