Are you hosting Christmas but have you lost track of time due to work and all the Christmas shopping? These last minute decoration tips will help you create a beautiful Christmas table setting, without last minute shopping stress and breaking the bank.

Use what you own
Remember those vintage wine glasses from your grandma or that table runner you used for your last birthday party? We often have more suitable tableware than we think. So instead of running to the store and spending a fortune, look at what you already own.
Add greenery
Greenery like Eucalyptus or spare Christmas tree branches are an example of affordable decor. They both work great in a centerpiece, but also as a nametag holder or to spruce up your napkin, like I did. Berries or pinecones are great if you are going for a rustic theme are often easily available.
Use craft supplies
You might not expect it but craft supplies can be perfect for decoration your table. Any spare ribbon or rope can for example be used to tie your napkins. I also added gold foil stars to my table runner to create a festive mood.
Candles are always a good idea
Some tea lights or beautiful candleholders are perfect to set the mood and create a cozy atmosphere. If like me you always have to many candles in the house you can finally put them to good use.
Remember what is all about
Although the Christmas table setting might seem important now, it will not be in the long run. Don’t let the little things stress you out. In the end Christmas is all about spending time with the people you love.

How are you celebrating Christmas? I hope you have a lovely Christmas and that you get to spend it with the people that matter.
Merry Christmas!
Love, Meryl
