The “we miss you e-mails” from my gym have been piling up in my mailbox but I just couldn’t find the motivation to go these last few months. But not only the gym situation can be improved also my diet can use some improvements. Instead of setting myself some regular monthly goals as I did in the past. I decided to switch things up and set myself some health related goals for March.
- Go to the gym at least 2 times a week. The obvious but probably the most difficult one for me. Working out is at the bottom of my priority list, which means that it usually get dropped because there is always something else that takes up my time. This month I want to increase it’s rank on my priority list to ensure that I will go at least twice per week.
- Drink more green tea. Recently I’ve been really in to tea, but I tend to drink black tea instead of green tea. Green tea however is filled with antioxidants which helps prevent skin aging due to the sun. Taste wise I like black and green tea, so this will be an easy switch.
- Be in bed before 11.15 at least 3 nights a week. I’ve said it before but I’m a night owl. I love to work and do stuff late at night. It’s when I feel most inspired and least distracted by other things. It’s however not so convenient when you have to leave your house at 7.30 a.m. to go to work. I’m not a person that needs a lot of sleep but I still want to try to be in bed before 11.15 p.m. at least 3 nights a week.
- Eat vegetarian at least 2 days a week. I’m not vegan or vegetarian but I would like to see if I could eat vegetarian at least 2 days a week.
So these are the health goals I’ll start with on Wednesday. What are your (health) goals for March? And do you have any vegetarian recipe recommendations?
Love, Meryl
