I am writing this post while I’m impatiently waiting for the postman to arrive with my Sweaty Betty sale parcel, which seems contradicting but simultaneously very fitting to this post. The sale has really had a grip on me the last few weeks and my wallet is hurting from it. Time to balance the scale, or in this case my bank account, by trying to keep my spending as low as possible. Let’s start with the money diary of my low buy week.
While working on my blog the other day I realized that it had been a while since I shared a more personal post. Behind the scenes some exciting things are happening that I really want to share; time for a little update. Are we moving? It’s been a year since my boyfriend and I moved into our current apartment and we still love living here. Our current apartment is a rental and although we love the freedom that comes with renting, you often pay more. Moving in together is exciting but it also comes with uncertainties; will everything work…
May is one of my favorite months, the weather is slowly improving and the longer days really increase my productivity. May is going to be a busy month, in which I find myself traveling every other weekend. That’s why my May goals are all about keeping me grounded.
I feel like body confidence is something we all struggle with from time to time, especially now that the warmer seasons are coming. In winter cozy sweaters and scarfs provide the much-needed comfort but now that the more revealing items hit the stores I always find the need to turn a mental switch.
Even though I am nowhere near finished with the capsule wardrobe content I started in January, we are already nearing the end of February. Although it took me a while to write another post I did choose a new area as part of my happiness project to focus on this month and that’s self-love.
