Sunscreen is one of those items that we all know we should be wearing, but that we all rarely do. We know that it’s an essential to protect our skin but it’s also quite often greasy and sticky and therefore not something you want to apply to your face daily. Over the years I have discovered two products that work great for me on the face sunscreen front. A little heads up neither of them is sticky or greasy, so you are probably very curious about my best face sunscreens now, right?
Mimitika Face Sunscreen SPF 50
I discover this product while browsing the Space NK website on the lookout for a daily sunscreen with a high SPF, no allergens, not to expensive and most of all not greasy. The reviews convinced me that this might be the sunscreen I was looking for. I have to say that it does tick all the boxes. I was a bit shocked when I opened the packaging and saw a thick yellow cream. Don’t be put off by this, in blends in perfectly and there is no trace of yellow in sight. I use it every morning after my moisturizer and I am happy to report that it does not result in breakouts and added shine. A winner for me.
La Roche Posay Anthelios Invisible Fresh Mist SPF 50
This La Roche Posay suncreen is ideal for your holiday but also a handbag essential. It’s completely invisible, not shiny and you can apply it over your make-up. The product is a fine mist, meaning that there is no need to rub it in. Products from La Roche Posay are designed for the sensitive skin, which is also a big bonus if you suffer from allergies or skin diseases. This one is definitely going in my toiletries bag for my next trip.
